Decades inside mid-sized manufacturing. Now building the tools those companies never had.

Michael Victory — Principal Consultant, Open Communications Consulting

I've spent decades inside mid-sized manufacturing companies wearing more hats than most org charts allow — marketing, sales, product ownership, IT strategy. I know what it looks like when good people are slowed down by tools that were never built for how they actually work.

I started Open Communications because I kept seeing the same gap: the distance between what a business needs and what technology vendors were willing to build honestly and affordably. Most consultants either over-engineer the solution or under-explain the cost. I've been on the receiving end of both.

I use modern tools to build faster and at lower cost than traditional development. I'll tell you exactly how — that's not a policy, it's just how I think communication should work.

Every project I take on starts with a free conversation — not a pitch. I want to understand your actual problem before I suggest anything. If I can't help, I'll tell you that too, and point you somewhere that can.

Work that speaks plainly.

01
Honesty before the sale

I'll tell you if you don't need me. I'll tell you if what you're asking for won't solve the real problem. That conversation costs nothing and saves everyone time.

02
Transparency about how I work

I use modern tools — including AI — to move faster and think more clearly. I'll always tell you how something was built and what it can't do. No mystification, no inflated promises.

03
You own the result

Every deliverable — code, documentation, hosting setup — belongs to you completely. You should never need to call me again unless you want to.

04
Fixed scope, no surprises

You know exactly what gets built, what it costs, and what you own before any work begins. Scope changes are a conversation, not a surprise invoice.
